Nataliya Gurshman
Nataliya Gurshman has been an adjunct faculty member of Northern Virginia Community College since 2005. She has both BFA and MFA in Illustration and Painting. She has exhibited widely both locally and nationally. Her paintings are in private collections throughout the United States, Europe and the Middle East. Nataliya loves to teach and share her creativity and knowledge with her students. She has over 20 years of teaching experience and continues to evolve as a teacher and artist.

About this course
This is an introductory oil painting class. Students will learn about colors, composition, with the help of brushes and palette knife, and how to make an impression of the still-life or landscape on their canvases. There will be a different setting for every class. Students will create vibrant, textural and colorful paintings.
